African Violet Propagation

African violettes are propagated from a single leaf.
First you need to cut a leaf.
In a 4-inch pot filled with potting soil or pertile (I use pertile as I find it easier to manage), make a hole with a pencil, then, you can insert the stem in the hole until the leaf, and then press the soil/pertile around it to firm it up.
Water it well, and keep it moist. The roots will be formed on the stem.
You can put several leaves in the pot, since anyway you will have to separate the plantlets later.

Refer to my eariler post on my leaves propagation progress in office. Now waiting for the plantlets to appear.

The following is one of leaf propagation at home with plantlets.
